The student of the month for Mrs. Ridgway’s class is Miss Cora Miller. From Day One Coral has been very helpful, kind and positive. Even more so in the last month, when she didn’t feel the greatest, she pushed through and worked harder than I thought she could. Even when she hadn’t felt her best during the day, she still keeps up with her work, helps others when asked, and is a positive role model for student in my class. Cora has the biggest heart, and will do anything to help anyone. Everyone wants to be friends with Miss Cora, and she’s a great friend in return. Whatever Cora wants to do when she grows up, she’ll achieve. I’m super proud to have Cora in my class!

Mason Ridgway is the Student of the Month for Mrs. Randall’s Class. Mason loves to share his activities that he does with his family. Lately he has been talking about playing football with his family. He has a caring and compassionate attitude towards animals and people. When he talks about his kittens at home you can feel the love he has for them. He shows his caring manner towards his classmates by the way he is willing to help a student that is struggling. I have also been on the receiving end of his caring attitude by the gifts he has given and made for me. Mason gives his best on each task he is given and this continues when he willingly gets his homework finished after school. I am excited Mason is in my room. I look forward to watching him grow and develop as a first grader this year.

Mrs. Meyer has selected Jordan Black as Student of the Month for Room 430, 6th Grade. Jordan puts forth a great degree of effort in her learning both in and out of the classroom. Recently Jordan experienced an injury to her wrist while running in cross country. She has showed great tenacity through this injury and discovered with a little adjustment she could write with the brace on her wrist. When out for doctor’s appointments, Jordan has done an excellent job of asking for make-up work and been responsible in completing this work in a timely manner. Sorry about your injury Jordan. Thanks for being a positive role model to others during this challenge in your life though.
