Students of the Month
Brandalyn Kress is “Student of the Month” in the Kindergarten Class of Room 210! Brandalyn comes into the classroom and begins working on her morning paper right away. She is working very hard to complete her assignments and complete them correctly! Brandalyn is also showing a great improvement in Math and Reading. She is very helpful to everyone and is so friendly to all. I am very proud of her improvement and hard work in Kindergarten this year. I am so happy to have Brandalyn in my classroom! Keep up the good work!
The student of the month for Mrs. Ridgway’s class is Traetyn Davis. Traetyn has really grown and matured over the school year. He is really learning to make the good choices when presented with something that may be difficult for him. Traetyn also takes his time on his work and has the neatest handwriting. He has a great work ethic, and inspires others in the class to do the same. One thing that I’ll miss about Traetyn, next year, is his infectious laugh. No matter what kind of mood your in, Traetyn’s laugh can change that within seconds. He has the greatest sense of humor and ability to use it at the perfect time. I’ve enjoyed seeing the progress and growth that Traetyn has made over this school year! Keep up the good work, and continue to make good choices!
Emma Collins is the student of the month in Mrs. Woodbury’s first grade classroom. Emma comes to the classroom each morning and gets to work right away. Emma is very helpful and considerate of others. She treats her classmates with respect. Emma loves horses and loves to be outside. I am glad to have Emma in my first grade classroom.
Hannah Allen is student of the month for Mrs. Randall’s Class. Hannah is always eager to share her experiences with the class during share time. She has grown as a reader that uses her skills to decode words and understand stories. She has become enthusiastic about trying to read chapter books. As a writer, her sentences have come to include more details. Hannah has developed an attitude of taking pride in her work. During math time, if she doesn’t understand something she will eagerly ask for help. I have enjoyed watching Hannah grow as a first grader and look forward to watching her continue to develop throughout the rest of the year.
Sofie Murray is the student of the month in Mrs. McQueen’s class! Sofie’s excitement about all things is contagious in our classroom. Her smiles brighten our day and make us all happy. Sofie has such a kind heart and is an awesome friend to everyone. She is always willing to help a friend. Great job, Sofie! We are lucky to have you in our class! We are so proud of you!
Makenna Pollic has earned March student of month in Miss Stafford’s class with her amazing work ethic and friendly personality. Makenna enjoys being a helper in the classroom and always helps without being asked. Also, she is quick to offer help to her peers and loves to celebrate the success of others. Makenna encourages her peers to persevere and helps create a positive classroom environment. She works well in groups and adapts to changes quickly and without complaint. On top of all this, Makenna is a constant model with the effort she put into every assignment. She takes her time to ensure her work is neat, accurate and her best work. Fantastic job, Makenna! Keep shining bright!
Our Student of the Month is Kaitlyn Morgan. Kaitlyn is a polite and friendly young lady. She is nice to all of her classmates and is a good friend to all of the students in class. Kaitlyn likes Math and is working to earn her XtraMath certificate in Subtraction. She is working on learning her Multiplication facts too! Kaitlyn is always ready and willing to help others. She does a great job working for Room 230 inc. too. I'm glad Kaitlyn is in Room 310.
Drevian Lloyd is the April Student of the Month for Mrs. Price’s class. Drevian works very hard on his school work and loves to learn new things. He takes initiative to help with classroom jobs. Drevian is always willing to listen and help anyone who needs it. He is always a great friend to all of his classmates. We love to listen to his adventurous stories about his farm! We are very fortunate to have him in our class. Congratulations Drevian on being our student of the month for April! Great job, Drevian!
The student of the month for April in Miss Kirkman’s room is Hollie Owens. I have really enjoyed having Hollie in my class this year. Hollie has been working hard all year. She has continued to improve in Math. Hollie is a responsible student that I know I can count on to be an independent worker and to get things completed on time. Hollie has worked hard to be on the A and B Honor Roll for all three nine weeks of school so far. I know that she will finish out the year strong and be successful in 5th grade as well. Keep up the great work!
Levi Kniesley is room 322’s student of the month. His writing is improving and papers are neatly done. Levi loves math and his eyes sparkle when challenging problems are given to the class. He gives his best effort and has a strong work ethic. He is thoughtful of others and is kind to everyone around him. Levi’s playfulness and sense of humor keep things lively! He is an honest person. He is a joy to teach and I have felt very blessed to have him in our classroom family.

Sarah Glunt will have the honor of being our student of the month for Room 421 5th grade, due to her outstanding academic effort, work ethic, and strive to be a better friend as the year has progressed. I admire the fact that Sarah is never involved in drama in our classroom and that academics are her priority when she is at school. She has worked hard this year at being a good friend and seems to be more encouraging to other students. Sarah keeps busy in her freetime with church activities, cross country, and doing many 4-H projects. Congratulations Sarah!!
Mrs. Meyer has selected Loren Garber as Student of the Month for Room 430, 6th Grade. Loren is an admirable student. His organization, honesty, diligence, and self-accountability allow Loren to achieve higher than the classroom level of expectation. Loren has an awesome sense of humor. Loren often shares of his outside of school responsibilities and experiences that help to make him a well rounded individual. Thank you for being such a great RSE role model Loren!
Mrs. Markley would like to nominate Macy Martzell as the Student of the Month for April from Room 432 in 6th grade. Macy has been working really hard this school year, especially in Reading. Macy has been pushing herself to be a better student. She is opening up more during class discussions and isn’t afraid to say that she needs some help. Macy has become a leader in the classroom this year. Keep up the great work Macy and finish the year strong!
Kaden Stewart has been selected as the Art Student of the Month. What can I say about Kaden but WOW! Kaden is an outstanding student, in class, and out of class! He will go out of his way to help his fellow classmates, as well as me! His art work is awesome! Kaden will take risks, in art, and he always gives 110% effort! He has been a true joy to have in class, and I look forward to many more years with Kaden!
Kaylee Kemplen is Music’s Student of the Month. Kaylee has matured so much, especially this year. She sits quietly in class and soaks in all of the information. Kaylee uses the information she is learning and is a good Music student. Kaylee is a joy to have in class and has a great smile! Good job Kaylee! Keep up the good work!!
Paxton Carpenter is the April P.E. student of the month. Paxton is a very polite student. He always has a smile on his face :) He is also such a joy to have in class. Keep up the good work, Paxton!!!
Mr. Murray’s Student of the Month. Here are just a few reasons as to why Zane Donham has earned the Student of the Month award this past month.
- He has improved his reading scores by a whole grade level
- He is always willing to participate in discussions, even if he does not enjoy the topic
- He continues to ask questions, and dig deeper into wanting to know the correct answers.
- He has a pretty sweet haircut and can be proud of the student he is!!
Ms. Wall’s student of the month is Kailey Stewart. Kailey is full of motivation when she comes to the speech room. Kailey gives her best effort and always tries to make progress. Kailey has been doing an excellent job of reaching toward her goals and attempts homework even when difficult. Kailey makes improvements each day due to her hard work and determination.
