The student of the month from Mrs. Ridgway’s class is Miss Bella Figueroa. It’s very hard to switch schools, let alone at the end of the school year, but Bella made it seem so easy. She quickly started to make new friends and wasn’t scared to start up a conversation with anyone. Sometimes, it’s very difficult to adjust to a new way of teaching, but she didn’t complain once about the changes. Bella is a very smart and talented little girl! She has given everything 100% of her effort and continues to amaze me with her knowledge of many subjects!!! Bella also makes it a point to help others when she completes her work. While she might like talking to the other student's aspect better, she does a great job explaining what they might not understand. I’m very proud to have Miss Bella in my class and we’re all happy that she decided to choose Randolph Southern as her new school!!!!! First grade is very lucky to get her, next year!

When she observes another student struggling she is willing to lend a helping hand. She listens and works well with other students in partner and group situations. During share time, she loves to talk about her experiences with her family and activities at church. I have enjoyed having Brooklynn in my class. It has been a pleasure to watch her grow throughout the year.
